Embodying the same ethos as it’s sister property Le Sereno, St Barths, Il Sereno is 450 feet of simple elegance along the pristine Lake Como shoreline. Rooms and Suites

Alcova Suite –  The Alcova Suites offer a king size bed as well as an alcove which includes an extremely comfortable sofa that serves as an additional bed at night.  The suites provide an outdoor terrace with lounge furniture.

Grand Suite Lago –  This suite is sleek and serene, providing spectacular panoramic views of the placid lake.  These waterfront suites offer a spacious furnished terrace, a sofa, full length mirror, desk, and a large reading chair.  Supremely comfortable these luxurious and spacious suites evoke the relaxed elegant spirit of Lake Como. The suite has a living area inside and a spacious terrace overlooking the lake.

Corner Suite –  As their name implies, the Corner Suites at Il Sereno boast breath-taking views. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the calm waters and commanding mountain ranges- truly bringing the beauty of the surrounding nature indoors.  Urquiola’s artful designs make use of earthy materials and natural patterns in the Corner Suites, which tie into the overarching designs seamlessly.  The Corner Suite bathrooms comes with rain shower, large bathtub, floor ceiling windows opening to its own terrace overlooking the lake.

Lario Suite –  In the Lario rooms your comfort is paramount. Complete with a luscious king size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows with partial views of Lake Como, this entry level room is an intimate retreat. The Lario Suites use the pattern of natural materials that is seen throughout the hotel: stone, walnut, bronze and glass. This colour palette is enhanced with rich fabrics designed exclusively for the Il Sereno by Patricia Urquiola.  The Lario suite may or may not be handicap equipped. This entry-level room also may or may not have a terrace.

Darsena Suite – Grand and unique, the Darsena Suite is named after the impressive stone docks at the lake below. This suite was built on the site of an ancient Darsena, and is right at water level, allowing the large terrace of the suite to touch the gentle waves of the lake. The Darsena Suite provides an additional and individual feature in its private and direct access to the lake. The Darsena Lago is also available as Darsena Junior Suite, slightly smaller and has no direct access to the lake.

Situated on a sunny promontory next to the village of Torno and surrounded by peaceful views of Lake Como’s natural beauty, lush gardens and idyllic small towns, Sereno Lago di Como’s lakefront location stretches approximately 140 meters (450 feet) along the eastern shore of Lake Como.

The hotel is less than 6km (4 miles) from the center of Como, just a short 8-minute drive; and approximately 50 minutes from both Milano Malpensa airport and the center of Milan. 20 minutes in helicopter from Milan and 15 minutes boat drive from Como.
